ABOUT SUZANNE BOSWELL
Suzanne Boswell is a professional speaker, an author, consultant and columnist. Her early years in business included work as customer service representative and clothing designer for a well-known national menswear firm. During this period she also managed quality control staff at three different Texas manufacturing facilities.
She has taught post-secondary students including courses in Executive Leadership, Speech, Design and Art History. Her consulting services helped individuals and companies in the areas of self-presentation and nonverbal communication.
In 1983 Suzanne formed Boswell Presentations to help individuals and organizations with issues of interpersonal relations, communications issues and customer service. She served as President of the National Speakers Association of North Texas. Suzanne has spoken at more than 800 meetings in US, Canada and Europe. Clients range from banking and hospitality industry to dentistry and healthcare services.
She is author of several books including "Suiting the Customer" (Prentice-Hall, 1993) and "The Mystery Patient's Guide to Gaining and Retaining Patients" (PennWell, 1997). She has authored more than 200 articles published by professional and trade journals internationally and her long-running column, "The Patient's Perspective" won 2 awards from American Society of Business Publications Editors. Suzanne is a certified trainer of Behavioral Styles and Professional Protocol systems.
As a speaker, Suzanne is known for her down-to-earth, interactive style. She quickly develops rapport with audiences of all ages and professions. Her primary goal is to provide practical information that can be used immediately. Her humor, spontaneity and warm style are key to the effectiveness of her programs.
